Politics, Socialism, and a Christian Response

Single Adult Fellowship hosts this life application study on being heavenly minded while being politically effective. We will use Coral Ridge material which includes DVDs and books exploring the bankruptcy of socialism such as “The Ten Truths about Socialism”. This course will use socialist Nazi Germany as a case study developed by Dr. Lutzer of Moody Church to engage in the discussion of truth and its application to our lives and current society. This is a partici¬patory study, involving all attendees as students of our Lord.

Psalms, Proverbs, and the Parables

The Psalmist said, “Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will declare what he has done for my soul.” God’s gifts of Grace, Faith, and Wisdom permeate the pages of the Psalms, Proverbs, and the Parables. We will study and discuss spe¬cific passages to uncover God’s treasures in His Word.

The Truth Project

The Truth Project is a comprehensive tour of a Christian world view developed by Focus on the Family. It consists of a series of 13 DVDs (approx. 1 hr. each) covering the issues we face in society from God’s point of view. Each week we will watch a DVD and then have discussion time. The topics include: What is Truth? Who is Man? Who is God? Sociology (What is Social Order?), Philosophy, Science, History, Ethics, Law, Politics, Economics, Art, Media, Music, Literature, Church, Family, God and Man, State, Labor, and Community. While The Truth Project is not exhaustive on these subjects, it sets a reference point, God’s reference point, from which to view the world and make decisions in light of God’s view. Join us in this life changing experience for you and those around you.
