Pre-Cambodia: On The Job Training
On a typical Sunday you will find high school students at the mall shopping or just hanging out. That's not true with our high school students, Hayley, Sara, Jeff, TJ, and Derek, they're preparing for a mission trip to Cambodia. Today we are all excited because Tyler, a student at Flowing Wells, prayed to receive Christ with Hayley and Sara at the Tucson Mall. For the past month the we have been training for our mission trip to Cambodia. We usually start by praying for the Cambodia trip, then head to the mall for on the job training (OJT). There we try to strike up converstations with other students and teenagers about how they can have a relationship with God. Sara, one of our students going to Cambodia, helped Hayley share the good news to Tyler. It was the second time Sara saw someone pray to receive Christ through Youth EE, "Our Presentation wasn't perfect but It was really cool to see God work through that." Sara said after reflecting on the desision that Tyler had made. "Through God anything is possible!" It really is the Holy Spirit that prepares those who to accept Christ. Pray for us, as we get ready to go: 1. That God would prepare the hearts of those we will be sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with. 2. Pray for our students that they may be ready and able to share the Youth EE presentation. 3. Pray for Tyler and his new faith and relationship with God.

Because of the lack of rain, there was no running water (in houses that usually had it) and their wells were very low. That night Steve reminded Frank of the request of our friend for rain and so they began to pray. As they did, it began to thunder and lightning. And one hour later they both awoke to the sound of.... Thoughts from God about my trip to Aceh... You said... “Be a light to the nations.” But God, their light is already so bright. Then shine brighter. How can I, when they shine like the stars in the night sky? Reflect the likeness of my Son, who shines brighter than the...[ read more...]

 1. Why did you decide to take Youth EE? Being able to communicate what you believe in and why you exist and what your purpose in life is might be some of the most important things i could share with people. Youth EE helped me express what my purpose is in words and made it possible for me to talk about my faith with ease and confidence! 2. What made you want to go to Cambodia for a Youth EE missions Trip? I have always wanted to do something out of my own community that impacted that area for Christs name. When the opportunity came up for me to go to Cambodia and share my faith there was no turning back, everything is all part of Gods perfect plan for my life. 3. What can people pray for specifically for you? For me that i can communicate with ease to the Cambodians and those learning at the clinic without there being a huge issue for language barrier. Also that God would prepare the hearts of the Cambodians to hear the good news of Christ. But most of all that we can glorify God with our attitudes and our hearts and our speech while we are in Cambodia and Malaysia.

What made you want to go to Cambodia for a Youth EE missions Trip?I went to Norway last summer for Youth EE and it was an amazing experience. I experienced God in an amazing way. It was so awesome to see Gods hand moving. It was a very humbling experience and it gave me alot of joy to know that i was doing what God has called us to do. 3. What can people pray for specifically for you? That I will be able to effectively teach and share the presentation to the clinicians and the people we encounter on our OJT's and that God will make himself present so that we may grow closer and stronger in our walk with Him. Also, that we will be VERY SAFE everywhere we go!

1. Why did you decide to take Youth EE?I decided to take youth EE because I wanted to grow personally and share what I know with others. It makes me so happy to tell other people about The Good News and I enjoy the fellowship with other members of the team. 2. What made you want to go to Cambodia for a Youth EE missions Trip? The question is not what made me want to go, but what would prevent me from going? Nothing! I would love to go to a different place and share what I know. This is a great opportunity for me to share my faith with other people that have never even heard about Jesus. I am excited to go. 3. What can people pray for specifically for you?I would like people to pray that I will stay calm and know the information, and be able to explain it to the people clearly. Also, that no one will get hurt or sick, but instead have a great time.

Pray for us!
This is Where its At!
This will be the place that you can check out our Progress before and during our missions trip to Cambodia. Feel Free to comment to these posts and let us know you're praying for us! When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
