CFC Job Search Support Group Running Every Tuesday Evening 6:30 PM
You are invited to join CFC’s Job Search Support Group Every Tuesday Evening 6:30 PM
Getting a new job in this economy can be a challenge. If you are a facing a job loss or have already experienced lay off, and would like to meet with Christian men and women to help you sustain your job search, then come Tuesdays evenings and don't feel alone. CFC is starting new sessions each week on: job search planning, networking, resume writing, job options, spiritual direction in times of crisis, finances, and Biblical answers for your personal needs, etc. This is a multi-church effort open to all and the price is free!
God is in control and as people of God, we need to support and pray for each other. We are meeting in the Class Room 406 and 408 on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM, see schedule and format below.

Jan 5th-Week 1 - God's Will and Direction, Plus Define Job Search Targets
Objectives: Understand God has a plan for your life and identify the marketing elements of a good job search plan.
Topics: Overview of God's will & direction in our lives during job crisis by David Wagemaker. Define and identify your job search objectives, skills, talents, experience, degrees, and accomplishments by Greg Johnsen. Job Search Coaching.
Jan. 12th- Week 2 – “Marketing You” Materials and Networking Part 1
Objectives: Create an updated resume and Networking Plan
Topics: Prepare a draft of your resume (chronological), cover letter, and thirty second commercial about you! John Shattuck also presents crafting a Networking plan. Job Search Coaching.
Jan. 19th-Week 3 - Job Search and Networking Part 2
Objectives: Preparing an individual marketing plan. Learn to execute your plan through networking.
Topics: How to organize your marketing material for your job search, including a final marketing plan. Networking Practice. Job Search Coaching.
Jan. 26th -Week 4 - Interviewing and Sustaining Your Search
Objectives: You will know how to have an effective interview.
Topics: Michele Ingram will help you learn keys to effective interviewing in the 21st century and how to ask and answer questions effectively. Networking & Job Search Coaching.
