Primetimers
Hi, I'm Karen Hocker, coordinator for the group called Primetimers. Our group is for people over 50 who want to have fun together and get better acquainted with fellow church members/attendees. We are married, widowed, single or divorced men and women. There are no dues or obligations. We invite you to attend any or all events. We schedule a different event each month except during the summer. Some activities are local and inexpensive, while others involve traveling and cost a bit more. Annual events include: Music and Dessert evening in February, a BBQ in October with live music, and a Christmas party in December. Other venues have been a trip to Kartchner Caverns, a Cinco de Mayo party with a mariachi band, a Christmas hayride through Winterhaven, a trip to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, a trip to Williams, AZ and the train ride to the Grand Canyon, an evening at the Gaslight Theater - to name a few. We have even been known to go shopping at various places in Phoenix. Sometimes we charter a bus, other times we carpool. As you can see, we are an active group!

*AUGUST We are going on a train trip through Colorado. The dates are August 4 - 12; cost is $2149 double occupancy. Space is still available, Please call Karen for more information. Get out of Tucson during the heat!
SEPTEMBER 17-24, Want to go to Camp, just like when you were a kid, only better? Come and join us as we fly from Tucson to Minneapolis, take a tour of the Mall of America, a trip to Duluth and Silver Bay ending with several days at Mt Carmel Bible Camp for a wonderful time of fellowship and renewal. Total estimated cost for the trip is $1400 which includes air fare, hotels, and all accommodations at the Camp. Meals 'on the road' will be on your own.

2009 FALL Trip through New England for colors
2010 SUMMER Trip to Germany for the Passion Play – happens only every 10 years. If you missed the informational meeting about our trip to Oberammergau for the Passion Play, there is still time. Call Karen soon for information as the tickets for the Play will be sold out by July 1, 2008. Total cost of the trip including the Play will be about $4000 - $5000. We will be going in June 2010 for 13 days which includes trips to Austria and Switzerland as well as Germany. Anyone is invited. Bring your friends and come with us. Dates and prices will be firmed up later.
