October 10, Friday - Primetimers annual BBQ at Karen Hocker’s.
October 11 Saturday: CFC-wide Membership Class held in the Sanctuary. Register by using the registration page. Each individual attending the class will need to register separately. A continental breakfast will be available at 8:00 a.m. The class will be taught by Pastor Mark and start promptly at 8:30 a.m.
October 11 Saturday: If you are already a member, then consider, that CFC is seeking volunteers to help at a baseball clinic in Nogales, Mexico as an outreach to win people to Christ. Contact Bill Kelley at 886-5067.
October 11 Saturday: Tucson Wide Singles event:
If you are 20-80 and single, this event could be for you. As you know, the number of singles and single parents in our country is exploding; Tucson is no exception. Equipping these awesome folks to be emotionally, spiritually and relationally healthy and empowering them to exercise their gifts in the Kingdom, is both an opportunity and privilege for those of us in ministry. Please join in taking a small step toward recognizing and affirming the singles in So. Arizona.
Pantano Christian Church will be hosting the first annual Single and Single Parent Conference on Saturday, October 11, 2008, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The event is free. Connections, an after conference mixer, begins at 3:30. There will be music and worship, breakout sessions, exhibits and time for fun and fellowship.
Chris Danielson, from Family Life Radio's Chris and Emilee Morning Show will be keynoting, and some great speakers will be presenting on topics such as, Our Identity in Christ, Boundaries, Single Parenting, Forgiveness, Health and Well-being, Leadership, and Finances. October 17-18 The CFC Women in the Church invite the ladies to the “Growing in God" Conference with guest speaker Teri Anderson. Sign up on Sundays in the Narthex.
October 15 - Church wide event - The Truth Project, a video-based course on Christian World View at 6:30 pm at CFC, lead by Tina and Joe Atkinson.
