CFC is making an IMPACT with a variety of activities to participate in, something for everybody to serve and bless the people of Tucson. So have a look, we are confident God will call you to something!
You can sign up at the church on Sunday or
Gospel Rescue Mission Center of Opportunity
Sat Sept 14: 30 volunteers to prepare and serve lunch and other possible activities at the new center. Meet at church at 9 am, depart 9:30. The new Center of Opportunity is a one-stop refuge of hope that provides holistic support and dignity for guests as they journey out of homelessness into self-sufficiency.
Get to Know Good News Community Church
Sat Sept 14 8:30 am depart CFC Good News Community Church is a church plant we've been partnered with for many years and that you support monthly with your tithes and offerings. Led by Pastor Jeff Markland, they are located in the heart of Balboa Heights and Miracle Manor neighborhoods, on Glenn St west of Oracle. Pastor Jeff has invited us to come participate in their Adopt-A-Block program, where we will go out into the neighborhood and share some Christian love and goodie bags.
Pastor Jeff is also looking for weekday volunteers to serve the neighborhood around the church by working a few shifts at the church, being available if someone comes for food assistance or just needs to talk. This is a fantastic opportunity to build real relationships with people in spiritual or physical need. So, whether you can serve once or take a regular weekly shift, please come get to know the mission field around Good News Community Church! This activity is being led by Elder Bob Capen. We'll depart from CFC at 8:30 and then caravan down OR you can simply meet over at GNCC no later than 9am. 701 W Glenn St, Tucson, AZ 85705.
Saturday Sept 14 9am at church: Some of us may one day be facing the isolation of illness or inability to physically get to church. Being out of community can make healing that much harder. We will be assembling bright, uplifting gifts and then disperse to deliver them for short visits with these homebound members and friends of CFC. This is a good activity for families with small children.

Saturday Sept 14 9am at church: An opportunity for prayer warriors. We welcome anybody who would like to gather together to pray for the ministries we are serving, for the safety of everybody driving and walking around neighborhoods, for the sweet visits with our homebound friends and for their healing, for the children and families in crisis, for our hearts and minds to be opened to new relationships with our neighbors, and for eyes to see and ears to hear the good news of our Lord Christ Jesus. Anybody who wants to come pray, please come.
