Sunday Schedule fall 2020

Catalina Foothills Church offers two in-person worship services that both work to bring together the ancient and the modern in our worship of Jesus Christ the son of God. In between, we offer our Middle Hour for all the kids and adults to attend Sunday School, Bible Study, or Groups.  Please see below for our protocols for seating and masks.

8:30 Service: our music is more traditional in terms of hymnody and our choir as leadership of that worship service.  Communion is every week.  Childcare for newborn - age 5.

11:00 Service: we have a band and play more current praise songs and contemporized hymns.  Communion every week.  Childcare for newborn to 3rd Grade.

Both services seek to glorify God by worshiping him through his son Jesus in songs, prayers, liturgy, and preaching.

Live Streaming:  If you are unable to attend worship at this time, we offer live streaming at 8:30 and 11:00. CLICK HERE

Middle Hour for all ages is held in between services 9:45 - 10:45 for Adults, Youth, and Children. CLICK HERE FOR MIDDLE HOUR DETAILS.

Childcare Check-In:  If this is your first Sunday with us, we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early so we have time to get your children checked in and comfortable.

When is Sunday School?  Sunday School is for children grades K-5th and is held during the Middle Hour at 9:45.  You are welcome to bring younger children to childcare during Middle Hour as well.  CLICK HERE FOR CHILDCARE AND SUNDAY SCHOOL DETAILS.

When is Youth Group?  The youth grades 6-12 meet during Middle Hour at 9:45 am.  They also meet Wednesday evenings.  CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

We must stress that no matter what procedures and policies we put in place, we cannot guarantee a virus-free environment, whether it is COVID-19, the flu, or anything else.  If you are concerned for your well-being, we encourage you to stay home.

FACEMASKS:  Facemasks are encouraged but optional.  That said, we do offer a MASK-ONLY section in the back rows of the Sanctuary and the chairs are physically distanced.  If you choose to sit in that section, you MUST wear your facemask the entire time, for the comfort and safety of others in that section.  The front part of the Sanctuary is a Mask-Optional section.  You can sit there with or without a mask.

DISTANCING:  We provide physically distanced chairs in the back of the Sanctuary in the Mask-Only sections.  The section is marked.  The chairs in the front part of the Sanctuary are not physically distanced.

CROWD/CONGREGATING:  We do our best to keep doorways clear of people, keep the lobby clear of congregating, and encourage people to move into the Sanctuary.

SANITATION:  We encourage frequent hand washing and we have hand sanitizer available throughout.  Touch-points are wiped down by staff as often as possible. The Sanctuary chairs are sanitized with CDC compliant spray.
